The intent was to run a series on all the graduating seniors, but I believe we only got these two done. We were operating in a different church culture in the 60's and it almost demanded that people in leadership be Christians. I concur, but there was something about this young man that seems to me God was drawing him closer and closer all the time. His comments to the reporter here were a surprise to many, but a blessing and a confirmation in my heart that placing him in leadership was the right thing to do.
Dale certainly would have been voted most likely to be a farmer. Now, I do not know where he ended up, but he was a handy guy to have around. His skills helped the group out on many occasions. He was handy with tools, and know how to improvise. He was a mean, moving machine in CSB floor hockey.
