BONUS POST 2

I'm sorry, but I can't help myself. The AYF Valley News had grabbed my heart and mind and jerked them through my eyeballs. I can't help but laugh and enjoy a very creative group of teens. Where is Lance Atton, the serial story writer who created very cleaver stories based around the names of the youth group? I want to find him and thank him for the joy he had given me. I have contact with Dorothy Hildebrandt, the editor and and very funny writer. She scanned and emailed me copies of every issue. I have heard from Melanie (Boldt) Driedger a faithful staffer who helped get this paper (anywhere from 4-8 pages weekly) out in about 3 hours.

I hope these do no bore you, but I have to share them. If you know anyone who was in the youth group at University Drive Alliance Church, Saskatoon, SK in 1970-71 direct them tot his site. It will bring back their teens years. In case they have forgotten what they were like, the paper remembers.

Look at the price of that retreat. Couldn't even buy the candy bar advertised below for that price.

Although I didn't get in on the fun created by these creative writers I've enjoyed them courtesy of your blog. Good clean humor is hard to come by these days. Thanks for the smiles. -Lorraine
